Meet Mark, a longtime Rotarian, and learn about the hot air balloon rides at Camp Allyn.
For more than 25 years, the Rotary Club of Cincinnati has hosted tethered hot air balloon rides at Camp Allyn in the summer. Camp Allyn is home to Stepping Stones' Summer Overnight Staycations, and the hot air balloon rides are a highlight of the week. These occur every Tuesday night and volunteers from the Club assist with setup, the rides and take down of the hot air balloons. This has become a beloved tradition by both participants and Rotarians.
Through a longtime partnership, the Rotary Club of Cincinnati and Stepping Stones have operated Camp Allyn together. The Rotary Club founded Camp Allyn in 1921 and Stepping Stones began operating programs there in the 1960's.
