        Students Volunteer at         Stepping Stones
At Stepping Stones, we are lucky to benefit from the generosity of student volunteers from schools across the city. Located just down the street from our Given campus, we have had a longstanding relationship with Cincinnati Country Day. Many of their students volunteer at Summer Day Camp and Saturday Clubs,  but Stepping Stones has also been the beneficiary of their student Service Days.

This year, a group of seniors from Cincinnati Country Day spent a full day with our Adult Day Services program at Camp Allyn. This is the third year that part of the annual Service Day was spent at Stepping Stones. The day was filled with mini golf, bowling, dancing, volleyball and basketball. Laura Gunn, the director of Service Learning at Cincinnati Country Day, explains that this opportunity has allowed students to build connections with the participants at Stepping Stones. "It opens the eyes of the students to the wonderful adults in the program and the services that are provided by Stepping Stones to so many in the Cincinnati area," says Laura.

Adult Day Services Program at Bryan Equipment
This year, our Adult Day Service participants have a new Friday routine at Bryan Equipment. Bryan Equipment is an official distributor of STIHL products with a warehouse located in Loveland. Groups of Adult Day Service participants visit the warehouse every Friday to assemble boxes for shipping. This opportunity has allowed participants to give back and feel a connection to their community. The experience also allows them to learn about and see the operations of a large warehouse, and be a part of the process.

Bryan Equipment has not only supported our participants directly, but they also have been a generous supporter of our special events donating STIHL products to our Bloom silent auction and Sporting Clays Tournament Raffle.

"We are proud to be a partner with Stepping Stones," says Tyler Jones, Director of Operations at Bryan Equipment. "The group supplies weekly help to our warehouse and enhances our overall output. The relationship is rewarding for us as we witness the positive impact it has on Stepping Stones and Bryan Equipment Sales team members, and only serves to build a stronger community."
